Job Summary
The World School, Bhusawal is inviting applications from knowledgeable and enthusiastic SST (Social Studies) Teachers to teach History, Geography, Civics, and related subjects. The ideal candidate will help students develop strong conceptual understanding, critical thinking skills, and social awareness in a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging SST lessons as per the prescribed curriculum
Teach History, Geography, Civics, and other social studies subjects effectively
Encourage discussion, critical thinking, and project-based learning
Use maps, charts, case studies, current affairs, and digital tools for effective teaching
Assess students’ progress through tests, assignments, projects, and presentations
Provide timely feedback and academic guidance to students
Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and lesson plans
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings and academic planning
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress
Support school events, activities, and co-curricular programs
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Social Studies, or related field
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred)
Prior teaching experience in a school environment is an advantage
Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Passion for teaching and commitment to student development
